Made by Aqua Ultraviolet, this media has a very high bio-film surface.The same properties have been added to this media in three different sizes with random lengths and diameters to avoid stacking.

The “Y” shape on the inside and wings on the outside affords a protective surface under backwashing and the Aqua Ultraviolet patent pending backwash system will keep the media from clogging.

Use Ultra Bio-Media to convert an old sand filter to a bead filter or replace your lava-rock with this media.

• One cubic foot of Aqua Ultra Bio-Media for your Aqua Ultraviolet system is equal to 750 square feet of surface area.
• One cubic ft. of media is enough to convert a 16" diameter sand filter
• Two cubic ft. of media is enough to convert a 21" diameter sand filter
• Three cubic ft. of media is enough to convert a 24" diameter sand filter
• Similar to Aqua Ultima Filter media but not the same.
