Its highly effective ultra violet light blocking preventing Growth of Weeds & Algae. Lakes and water traps on golf courses or those near to fields which have been treated with fertilisers often turn green and develop algae blooms. This is because excess nutrients from the fertiliser have been washed into the pond and are providing food for the algae and weeds and the UV light from the sun does the rest. Hydra Lake Shade is not only aesthetically pleasing but also cuts out the UV light entering their body of water decreasing UV light levels which are necessary for algae and plant growth.

How to Use

Dilution Rate:

Normal Dilution is approximately 32 ounces per acre at 3 feet deep. Dilution will depend on color of original water and depth of color required.

Retreat approximately every 3 months.
